WCT300 SERIES

   Controlling the total dissolved solids and maintaining an adequate concentration of scale or corrosion inhibitor is the minimum you should do to protect your cooling tower!  The WCT300 will do this reliably, and at a reasonable cost.  This controller will let you choose from different methods of inhibitor feed. A flow switch option is available to prevent control of a stagnant sample. For use with small evaporative coolers, you can install the conductivity electrode in the bleed line and sample intermittently, greatly reducing the cost of installation.

Four chemical feed options:

  • Feed & bleed, with or without feed lockout timer
  • Feed after bleed has finished, as a percentage of bleed time
  • Feed as a percentage of time elapsed
  • Feed as a percentage of make-up water

Timed sample conductivity control:

Intermittent, rather than continuous sampling reduces installation costs on evaporative cooler applications or small cooling towers.

 At-a-glance status display:

Best of both worlds; bright backlit digital LCD display also acts as an analog bar graph for a continuous visual summary of measurement versus set point.

Direct or inverse set point operation:

For applications that require reverse set point capability, such as a closed loop chilled water cooler. Programmed via easy menu option, direction is indicated at all times on controller parameter displays.

 Programmable access code:

Secures set point parameters. Program any four-digit access number or disable the code requirement entirely.

Choice of output modes:

Each output may be set to run automatically or manually, or be shut off entirely. Self-diagnostics: Software and electronics are constantly monitored, without having to take the controller off-line. Any operator-action needed messages are displayed.

 

WCT310 SERIES

The WCT310 series takes the features of the WCT300 and adds more. These controllers also have a dual programmable biocide addition capability.  The biocides can be added several times per day, or on a weekly, two week, or a four-week cycle. If you feed inhibitor based on a water meter contact input, the WCT310 will totalize the makeup flow, so you don't have to climb the rafters to read the register on the water meter.

 

 

Along with the features above as well as:

Programmable biocide additions:

  • Choice of 1, 7, 14 or 28-day cycles.
  • Dual alternating biocides or dual independent biocides
  • Add up to 10 times a day
  • Ideal for bromination or towers with small volumes and large makeup demand.
  • Lockout timer: Prevents waste of chemistry by preventing blow down immediately after a biocide addition.

Conductivity based biocide prebleeds:

 Ensure acceptable conductivity level prior to a biocide addition and lockout and is user programmable.

 

WDT300 SERIES

Do you have two cooling towers next to each other and need to save some money (and who doesn't)?  The WDT300 will do the job of two WCT300 controllers, at way less than twice the price!  Perfect for bleed and inhibitor feed for two towers.

Some cooling towers demand more than just bleed, feed and biocide additions, and the WDT does just that!  For applications where the pH needs to be tweaked to optimize the chemical treatment program, the WDT310 does the job.  For cooling towers where precise continuous addition of an oxidizing biocide (like chlorine, bromine or ozone) is required, the WDT310 can handle ORP control instead of pH.

WDT300 Series Controllers Feature Four Chemical Feed Options:
